The problem

Every calorie tracker
we tried was broken

×

Manual entry

Logging every ingredient by hand? Nobody has time for that.

×

Static targets

A fixed calorie number that ignores your changing weight. That’s not how bodies work.

×

Limited foods

Can’t recognise a hawker meal, a delivery order, or anything not in a Western food database.

×

Overpriced

$15–$30/month for what is essentially a food diary with a barcode scanner.

The solution

So we built Bite

Most calorie trackers get the numbers wrong. Bite doesn't. Take a photo of literally anything — a home-cooked dinner, street food, a delivery order — and get calories you can actually trust.

Photo = calories

Snap any meal. AI analyses it and gives you accurate calories, protein, carbs, fat, and fibre. No manual entry, no barcode scanning.

Actually accurate

Two AI models cross-check each estimate. Disagree? Give feedback and it adjusts. Finally, numbers you can trust.

Dynamic targets

Your daily calorie target adapts based on your actual weight, progress, and activity. Not a static number.

Energy model

Visualise digestion, glycogen storage, and fat burning in real time. See exactly when your body switches fuel sources.

How it works

Three steps. That's it.

01

Snap your meal

Take a photo or describe what you’re eating. Works with any cuisine, any portion, anywhere.

02

AI analyses it

Get instant nutritional estimates. Request a second opinion or adjust with feedback until it’s right.

03

Track your energy

See your daily calorie flow, glycogen levels, and fat burning sessions. Understand meal timing.

About

Built by someone
who gets it

Bite was born out of frustration. Every calorie tracker I tried got the numbers wrong — wildly off estimates, foods not in the database, manual entry that takes forever. So I built the tool I actually wanted to use.

The core idea: snap a photo of any meal and get accurate calories. Not a guess from a generic database — a real AI analysis of what's actually on your plate. Because if the numbers are wrong, nothing else matters.

Once tracking is accurate, everything else follows: dynamic daily targets that adapt to your real weight, an energy model that shows when your body burns fat, and progress you can actually trust.

It's the app I use every day myself. I hope it helps you too.
